A2A End to End Trek

​On October 15, John Davis and John Allport met on Wellesley Island after completing the end to end Hike.  The hike was a great experience and many lessons were learned along the way.  We were taken by the beautiful and diverse landscape the trail travels through, and the enthusiasm we encountered in our travels from the people and businesses we talked to.  Please visit our facebook page - www.facebook.com/A2ACollab/

A2A's 2016 Partner Meeting RESCHEDULED for Saturday April 16

A2A's 2016 Partner Meeting has been rescheduled for Saturday April 16​. Partners, please contact us if you haven't received your revised invitation!

The Partner Meeting on April 16 is a chance for A2A partner organization representatives to learn from each other, guide strategic initiatives, and celebrate achievements! Come attend workshops on road ecology, mapping, and Conservation Action Planning, and share how your organization has been contributing to the A2A Vision and Mission. Lunch will be provided (suggested donation of $7), with vegetarian and gluten-free options (if requested during registration). The meeting starts at 9:30 am and ends at 3:45 pm.

Minna Anthony Common Nature Center, Wellesley Island State Park Complex, 44927 Cross Island Road, Fineview, NY 13640

A2A Members are invited to attend A2A's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 13 at Mallorytown Community Centre, 76 County Road 5, Mallorytown, Front of Yonge Township, ON. 

​
We will kick the meeting off with a hot breakfast at 9:30 am: Pancakes, Eggs, Sausages, Fruit, Juice and Piping Hot Coffee! Then we will have two presentations about A2A’s Road Ecology and A2A Trail projects. The business meeting will follow at 11:20 am. Come to learn, celebrate and have your say!

Seeking Volunteers!

As a not-for-profit, A2A is people powered. We have two dozen volunteers who support the organization's activities and we are ever grateful for their invaluable energy and contributions.

We are seeking two new volunteers to help with ongoing administration and twice-a-year newsletter layout:
  1. Office administration
    Accounting, filing, record keeping. A few hours a week in our office at 19 Reynolds Road, Lansdowne ON. Someone who is dedicated, reliable, and attentive to detail.
  2. Newsletter layout
    Adding stories and photos into our InDesign template twice a year. Integrating feedback and revisions. Someone who is responsive, comfortable in InDesign, and has the software.
